Canovas Tomb Upside Down - Daniel Rossi

The research of my works is focused on the possible translation of ideas and elements into new forms and contexts. Almost all the works are only in part manipulated, often through the alteration of industrial production processes or combining different charateristics in order to create a dialogue between apparently discordant aspects. The aesthetic is the body of work itself which defines clear forms and elements avoiding a classical approach on canvas as to remark the concrete mass of the object in space. The research of specific materials to achieve the realisation of precise ideas coexists with the very open experimental working approach. All the works assume new meanings through a way of communication in wich the individual perception is deeply investigated. The process of creation is always opening possible new discoveries shaping ideas for the future development of projects related to social and historical matters.
